Lemonique are a three piece Moldovan group. The group is comprised of Mary Vegga as the front woman, with Segiu Ionas on guitar as well as the group’s manager, and the drummer that goes by the name Mr Rabbit.

The group were founded in 2017 and enjoying performing songs in pop, pop-rock, funk, dance, hip-hop and R&B styles. They take musical inspiration from artists such as Michael Jackson, Daft Punk and Jamiroquai.

Following the release of songs such as “Demons”, in 2019 Lemonique attempted to represent Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest. Their song “Gravity” was one of the songs in the Moldovan selection show that year where it finished in 5th place. | Find out more about this artist and others like them at

Eurojury is the flagship broadcast of Showcase, celebrating the music of the Eurovision Song Contest with juries of up to 180 entertainment industry professionals. Rob Lilley has hosted the televised event since the fourth edition in 2016, succeeding Josh Dubovie and Linda Martin during the show's time as a radio broadcast. Eurojury is known for producing an accurate simulation of the results likely to be seen at the Eurovision Song Contest in May and is often used by bookmakers and broadcasters as a guide and prediction of the grand final result.

Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest

Moldova debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2005 when the contest was held in Kyiv, Ukraine. In 2005 Moldova debuted in the contest alongside Bulgaria, while that year Hungary also returned to the contest having been absent since 1998. Moldova was in its worse run of results in their history in the contest, having failed to make it to the final between 2014 and 2016. Moldova finished 3rd at the 2017 contest in Kyiv, Ukraine marking the best result to date for the country. | Find out more about this artist and others like them at
